BofA lowered the firm’s price target on American Airlines (AAL) to $16 from $20 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. American cut its Q1 revenue growth view by 400 basis points, which the firm says “was not as bad as we expected, especially given the Flight 5342 accident.” Following the update, the firm moved its Q1 EPS view to the midpoint of the new range at (70c) and modestly lowered domestic unit revenue growth forecasts for the rest of 2025, the analyst noted.
