AMD found that hackers accessed limited information related to assembling certain AMD products on a third-party vendor website during a recent cyberattack, but expects no material impact to its business, Bloomberg’s Ian King reports. AMD launched a probe this week after reports that Intelbroker had breached its systems, and AMD found that the intrusion did not obtain business-critical information, King writes. “Based on our investigation, we believe a limited amount of information related to specifications used to assemble certain AMD products was accessed on a third-party vendor site,” a company spokesperson said. “We do not believe this data breach will have a material impact on our business or operations.”
