Roth Capital lowered the firm’s price target on AMC Entertainment (AMC) to $3 from $3.25 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The company should benefit from the positive box office content cycle which is expected to gather momentum in Q2 and play out over the next 2+ years, though its free cash flow is projected to remain negative in 2025 and potentially 2026, with additional equity raises that may prove necessary, the analyst tells investors in a research note. While AMC’s financial outlook should improve from here, its ongoing cash burn remains an issue, Roth added.
