Amazon Web Services OR AWS, an Amazon company announced the launch of the AWS Mexico OR Central Region. Starting Janusry14, developers, startups, entrepreneurs, and enterprises, as well as government, education, and nonprofit organizations, will have greater choice for running their applications and serving end users from AWS data centers located in Mexico. As part of its long-term commitment, AWS is planning to invest more than $5B in Mexico over 15 years. AWS has also launched a $300,000 AWS InCommunities Fund in Queretaro to help local groups, schools, and organizations initiate new community projects.
