UBS raised the firm’s price target on Amazon.com (AMZN) to $264 from $230 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm’s data show Amazon’s job postings data for technical hires are tracking 18.3% below 2018 levels. This underscores “what should be careful and modest hiring” for Amazon heading into 2025 for engineering and office positions, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says Amazon.com’s total job postings are tracking 6% above Q4 of 2018 levels, during which it added 81,500 employees.
