Allianz (ALIZY) is in exclusive talks to acquire Viridium from Cinven for around $3.3B, Ben Dummett and Justin Baer of Wall Street Journal report, citing people familiar with the matter. Allianz beat out rival bidders including Athora, an insurer affiliated with Apollo Global Management (APO), a source told the Journal.
