Needham lowered the firm’s price target on Alight (ALIT) to $9 from $11 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The upcoming change in administration could have a modest negative impact to Alight depending on the magnitude of cuts that the “Department of Government Efficiency” is able to push through, says the analyst, who is “modestly reducing” estimates with about 1% cuts to both revenue and EBITDA forecasts for FY25. However, the analyst contends that the recent stock underperformance with shares down about 12% since the election “outstrips the current fundamental risk.”
