Baird raised the firm’s price target on Alibaba (BABA) to $110 from $88 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm continues to view Alibaba as a strong technology platform with meaningful scale benefits, but question the pace of improvement in consumer/online spending in China with ongoing strong competition. Baird remains below consensus near term, slightly lowering top-line estimates for next year.
