AerCap purchased and sold 226 assets in Q3

AerCap Holdings (AER) has announced its major business transactions during the third quarter 2024: Signed 160 lease agreements, including 13 widebody aircraft, 107 narrowbody aircraft, 24 engines and 16 helicopters. Completed 41 purchases for 27 aircraft (including 2 Airbus (EADSY) A220 Family aircraft, 18 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 4 Boeing (BA) 737 MAX aircraft, 1 Boeing 787-9 and 2 Embraer (ERJ) E195-E2s for AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio), 13 engines and 1 helicopter. Completed 25 sale transactions for 18 aircraft (including 5 Airbus A320 Family aircraft, 3 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 4 Boeing 737NGs, 1 Boeing 767-300ER, 1 Boeing 777-300ER and 4 Embraer E190s from AerCap’s owned aircraft portfolio), 3 engines from AerCap’s managed engine portfolio and 4 helicopters. Signed financing transactions for approximately $10.5 billion, including $2.4 billion of senior unsecured notes. Repurchased approximately 5.5 million shares, at an average price of $91.03 per share, for a total of approximately $497 million. Paid quarterly cash dividend on ordinary shares of $0.25 per share.
