TD Cowen analyst John Kernan lowered the firm’s price target on Academy Sports (ASO) to $54 from $56 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The firm said without an improvement in SSS, they think consensus estimates into FY25 and FY26 look somewhat optimistic as increased investments in store growth could raise SG&A rates even on lower planned openings.
