NVIDIA’s (NVDA) GTC 2025 is here and is one of the year’s biggest tech events. Running from March 17-21, this four-day conference is all about the future of AI, computing, and graphics. CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote at 10 a.m. today is the highlight, with expectations for major announcements that could advance AI and even robotics.
What’s Coming in Huang’s Keynote?
The biggest reveal will likely be the Blackwell Ultra GPU series (B300). These next-gen chips will pack more power and come with 288GB of memory, making them a huge deal for AI training and heavy-duty computing. They’re set to launch in the second half of 2025, so expect major buzz around them.
Huang might also introduce Rubin GPUs, a future chip series coming in 2026. These will push AI performance even further. Another key reveal could be the Vera CPU, NVIDIA’s next processor, which will team up with Rubin to create the Vera Rubin Superchip – the next big thing after the Grace Blackwell super chip.
Optimus Is Not Alone
NVIDIA will not leave the up-and-coming robotics and AI simulation industry to Tesla (TSLA) to enjoy by itself, as it has plans of its own. So, expect updates on humanoid robots and how AI makes them smarter.
Although it is not related to Huang’s keynote address, the company is also making a play in quantum computing, with its first-ever Quantum Day set for March 20. Huang is expected to give a sneak peek at what’s coming and how NVIDIA works with giants like Microsoft (MSFT) and Amazon (AMZN) to push this tech forward. Quantum Day will also include a panel discussion between Huang and executives from quantum computing companies such as Alice & Bob, D-Wave (QBTS), IonQ (IONQ), Rigetti (RGTI), and SEEQC.
Why This Event Matters for NVIDIA
NVIDIA’s stock dropped 10.98% Year-To-Date, reflecting the company’s bumpy start to 2025. This event, however, could help turn things around. With new AI breakthroughs, stronger chips, and a big push into quantum tech, NVIDIA can show it is still the leader in high-powered computing. Some analysts even predict a 57% revenue boost in fiscal 2026, so investors will be watching closely. Final note ahead of Huang’s keynote: This isn’t just about cool tech, it’s about where NVIDIA is headed. If it delivers on these big promises, it’ll stay ahead in AI and computing.
Is Nvidia a Buy, or a Hold?
Turning to Wall Street, Nvidia is considered a Strong Buy, with an average price of $177.23. This represents an upside of 48.27%.
