Hollywood is rallying together amid the devastating fires in Southern California and now tech giants Netflix (NFLX), Apple (AAPL) and Amazon (AMZN) are set to stream a charity concert in aid of victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

Billie Ellish and Lady Gaga are set to appear alongside the likes of veteran rockers Rod Stewart and Sting at the event on January 30th.
Paramount Global (PARA) and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) are also showing the FireAid concert, which will be shown at select AMC (AMC) theatres.
NFLX Donates to Fund as Hollywood Studios Rally Round
With the LA fires directly affecting many of Hollywood’s top celebrities, studios have been generous with their support and rallied together.
On Monday, Netflix and Comcast (CMCSA) each announced a $10 million donation, to be distributed among groups such as the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Entertainment Community Fund, World Central Kitchen and the American Red Cross.
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said many of the company’s employees had been directly impacted by the fires.
“The next few years will be a rebuilding time for many of us and it will require creativity, vision, grit and perseverance,” he said in a memo.
Comcast boss Brian Roberts said, “We stand ready to support our employees and the broader Los Angeles community as we recover and rebuild from these tragic events.”
WBD and Walt Disney (DIS) have each pledged $15 million to assist with response and rebuilding efforts, while AMZN donated $10 million.
