Eversource Energy (ES) has released an update to notify the public and investors about a regulation fd disclosure.
On January 24, 2024, Ørsted agreed to buy Eversource Energy’s 50% interest in Sunrise Wind, a 924 MW offshore wind farm slated to supply power to New York. The deal’s completion depends on Sunrise Wind securing a contract in New York’s 4th offshore wind solicitation, an OREC contract with NYSERDA, finalizing acquisition agreements, COP receipt, and necessary regulatory approvals.
