Emerge’s truLOCAL Brand Launches Loyalty Program

Emerge Commerce Ltd (TSE: ECOM), an acquirer and operator of direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands, announced Thursday that truLOCAL, a Canadian leader in premium meat subscriptions, has launched a loyalty program to reward customers with free high-quality local meat.

Another Reason to Shop at truLOCAL

The truLOCAL loyalty program starts on February 3, 2022, and is free for all truLOCAL customers.

Reward points are earned by using the truLOCAL service with points earned for each subscription shipment and bonus points for milestones such as ordering their first, third, or tenth box, or for having a birthday.

CEO Commentary

Emerge’s Founder and CEO, Ghassan Halazon, said, “Offering an impeccable all-around customer experience is at the heart of what makes truLOCAL stand out. With the introduction of this loyalty rewards program, we are giving members, both existing and new, yet another reason to shop and stick with truLOCAL.”

Wall Street’s Take

Two months ago, Raymond James analyst Steven Li kept a Buy rating on ECOM and C$2.25 price target. This implies upside potential of 257% from current levels.

As Steven Li is the only analyst to have offered a stock rating for ECOM in the last three months, the average Emerge Commerce price target is C$2.25.
