How to Invest in the Dow Jones
Investors can’t hold a direct stake in the Dow Jones as it’s only an index. Instead, they might consider buying shares listed on it. Any of the stocks mentioned above are strong growth candidates that traders might want to invest in.
Another option is investing in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the DJIA index. Traders can pick between ETFs that bet on and against the Dow Jones. One popular ETF is the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA) but there are other options available.
