Delta Airlines (NYSE:DAL) Teams Up with YouTube to Launch Cloud-Based Entertainment

Delta Airlines (DAL) has partnered with Google’s (GOOGL) YouTube to launch a first-of-its-kind, cloud-based in-flight entertainment system. This new system, announced at CES 2025, builds on the Delta Sync experience introduced in 2023 for SkyMiles members.

This collaboration will result in the airline offering travelers ad-free content catering to their lifestyles and entertainment preferences at home. This move is in line with Delta’s vision of making travel more personalized and relevant.

DAL Has Also Collaborated with Uber and JOBY

In addition to the entertainment innovations, Delta is introducing ‘multi-modal’ transportation options in collaboration with Uber (UBER) and Joby (JOBY). As part of DAL’s partnership with Uber, DAL will enable SkyMiles members to earn miles on Uber rides and Uber Eats orders within the U.S. Additionally, its collaboration with Joby will result in DAL customers having the option to reserve an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle while arriving or departing for their journeys.

DAL Is Expected to Report Q4 Results on January 10

As for Delta’s financial performance, the airline is expected to report its fourth-quarter earnings on January 10, 2025. Analysts predict a 3% year-over-year revenue increase to $14.65 billion and earnings of $1.76 per share, up from $1.28 last year.

Analysts remain bullish about DAL stock, with a Strong Buy consensus rating based on a unanimous 17 Buys. Over the past year, DAL has increased by more than 40%, and the average DAL price target of $78.96 implies an upside potential of 28.6% from current levels.
