This move aligns with ZCCM-IH’s 2020-2026 strategic plan to diversify its mineral portfolio, particularly focusing on critical battery metals like lithium. Maamba Collieries plans to promptly begin exploration to confirm the presence of these minerals and assess their mineability over the four-year license period.
