ZCCM Investments Holdings PLC has announced the withdrawal of their petition for the winding up of Konkola Copper Mines PLC, with the Zambian High Court ordering the termination of the winding up proceedings. This development means the Provisional Liquidation has ended, the Board has been reinstated, and management control has been returned to Vedanta Resources, the majority shareholder. Shareholders are advised that they no longer need to exercise caution when dealing with company securities related to this matter.
