The latest update is out from YPF Sociedad Anonima ( (YPF) ).

On January 31, 2025, YPF Sociedad Anónima completed the sale of its Brazilian subsidiary, YPF Brasil Comercio de Derivados de Petroleo LTDA, to GMZ Holding LTDA and IGP Holding Participações S/A for USD 2.3 million. This divestment aligns with YPF’s strategy to concentrate its growth efforts on its core operations in the Vaca Muerta region. The sale will be reflected in YPF’s financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2024, under IFRS guidelines. Additionally, YPF granted the buyers a license to produce and commercialize its lubricant products in Brazil.
