World Copper Advances Zonia Project Amid Supply Deficit

World Copper (TSE:WCU) has released an update.

World Copper Ltd. is channeling its focus towards the Zonia Project in Arizona, aiming to evolve it into a bankable feasibility study followed by construction and production. With the global copper supply deficit in mind, Zonia promises a smaller-scale, cost-effective operation that can be developed rapidly, capitalizing on its historical production site advantages such as a 1:1 strip ratio and existing infrastructure. The company’s strategy includes a two-phase plan prioritizing private land resources, with the goal of commencing production within 3 to 5 years and potentially achieving net-zero facility status due to its favorable location and energy considerations.
