Woori Finance (WF) has released an update.

Woori Financial Group Inc. has successfully completed its previously announced acquisition of treasury shares held by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation on March 14, 2024. The transaction involved the purchase of 9,357,960 common shares at an average price of KRW 14,600 per share, amounting to a total acquisition cost of KRW 136,626,216,000. This strategic move by Woori Financial Group could signal a strengthening of its financial position and shareholder value.
