Woodside Energy’s Q1 Production and Revenue Dip

Woodside Energy Group Ltd (AU:WDS) has released an update.

Woodside Energy Group Ltd reported a 7% decrease in quarterly production to 44.9 MMboe and a 12% drop in revenue to $2,969 million compared to the previous quarter, attributed to lowered production in several locations and a mix of lower realized prices and volumes. Despite this, key projects like Scarborough Energy and Sangomar are advancing well, with Scarborough 62% complete and Sangomar nearing its first oil output in mid-2024. The company also completed significant sales and purchase agreements, including a $910 million transaction with LNG Japan and a long-term LNG supply deal with Korea Gas Corporation.
