Wizz Air Holdings (GB:WIZZ) has released an update.
Wizz Air Holdings PLC achieved a record high by carrying 6.2 million passengers in August 2024, showing a significant increase in their load factor to 95.4%. In the same breath, the company launched an ‘All you can fly’ annual membership, which was met with overwhelming demand, selling out in just two days. However, there was a slight rise of 0.7% in CO2 emissions per passenger kilometer, attributed to using an older fleet due to their A321neo aircraft being grounded.
