Willi Food Settles on Competition Violations Fine

Willi Food Inte (WILC) has released an update.

G. Willi-Food International Ltd. has agreed to pay an NIS 11.6 million fine to the Israel Competition Authority over alleged market competition violations, specifically concerning retail display arrangements and product resale pricing. This settlement, which the company’s board has approved, is currently open for public review and does not constitute an admission of wrongdoing. This case is separate from previously reported allegations against the company and a controlling shareholder under a different competition law.
