Wickes Group plc has announced the purchase of 55,764 of its own ordinary shares at a uniform price of 166 pence per share, with the intention to cancel these shares. This recent buyback is part of an ongoing program that has seen the company acquire a total of 17,310,599 shares to date. Post-cancellation, Wickes’ total issued share capital will be reduced to 242,327,399 shares, affecting the total number of voting rights for shareholders.
