Westpac Banking (AU:WBC) has released an update.
Westpac Banking Corporation has announced the redemption of its Series 1333-1 AUD350,000,000 Fixed Rate Subordinated Instruments, due on 16 August 2029. Holders of the instruments are to receive an early redemption amount on 16 August 2024, which includes 100% of the outstanding principal plus interest accrued from the previous year. The redemption decision is specific to these instruments and does not necessarily indicate a similar action for other outstanding regulatory capital instruments issued by Westpac.
