Westgold Resources Limited has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of mining executive Aaron Rankine as its new Chief Operating Officer, aiming to boost productivity and lower costs. The company also promoted Jacob Mesiha to the role of General Manager Projects and Operational Readiness, leveraging his 13 years of operational experience to lead major mine development and expansion projects. These strategic appointments are part of Westgold’s ambition to become a significant gold producer with an annual output target of 500 – 600,000 ounces from FY26/27.
