Westgate Energy Inc. has launched an ambitious two-well drilling program at their Killam property in Alberta, aiming to significantly boost production and reserves with advanced horizontal multi-lateral drilling techniques targeting the Mannville Sparky Formation. The company’s strategy focuses on exploiting the Mannville Stack fairway’s medium and heavy oil using innovative drilling methods, a move that’s part of a broader, proven blueprint for growth and shareholder value. Initial production results from the new wells are expected in September 2024.
