Western Mines Group Ltd has successfully completed a five-hole drilling program at the Mulga Tank Project, confirming the presence of komatiite and dunite lithologies as well as visible sulphide mineralisation, indicative of the site’s potential for high-grade nickel sulphide. The program, which was partially funded by an Exploration Incentive Scheme grant, also showed signs of gold mineralisation, suggesting the underexplored Minigwal Greenstone Belt could be a significant source of gold.
