Western Copper (TSE:WRN) has released an update.
Western Copper and Gold Corporation is set to bolster its board with the addition of three new nominees, each with a wealth of experience in mining and finance, ahead of its annual general and special meeting. The nominees include mining veteran Raymond Threlkeld, financial expert Robert Chausse, and the company’s CEO Sandeep Singh, all of whom are expected to support the strategic growth of the company’s flagship Casino Project. The Casino Project is positioned as Canada’s premier copper-gold mine in the Yukon Territory and is touted as one of the world’s most economical greenfield mining projects.
