Western Alaska Minerals Corp is set to commence its third drilling season at the Illinois Creek property, leveraging C$8.7M in recent financing to explore high-grade silver-zinc-lead deposits. The company aims to build on previous successes, including a significant silver intercept, and expand its understanding of the mineralized system, with drilling expected to start around June 8th. With the mobilization of crews and equipment already underway, WAM is poised to explore further linkages to a nearby past-producing gold mine.
