Westamerica Bancorporation has announced the appointment of Ms. Anela Jonas as the new Chief Financial Officer, starting June 27, 2024. With thirteen years of experience within the company’s Finance and Administration Division, including a stint as Controller, her expertise is expected to steer the financial direction of the company. Concurrently, Mr. John “Robert” Thorson will continue in his role as Treasurer and Treasury Division Manager, a position he has held alongside his previous responsibilities as CFO from 2005 to 2019 and during a recent term from March 2023.
