Waterco Limited Reports Revenue Growth but Decline in Profitability

The latest update is out from Waterco Limited ( (AU:WAT) ).

Waterco Limited, a company specializing in diversified revenue streams, reported a 13% increase in operating revenue to $134.7 million for the half-year ending December 31, 2024, despite facing a challenging external environment. However, the company experienced a decline in profitability, with a 17% drop in EBIT to $9.8 million and a 15% decrease in net profit after tax to $5.9 million, partly due to foreign exchange losses. The Australia and New Zealand division remained stable, while North America, Europe, and Asia faced significant EBIT declines. Waterco plans to leverage synergies from the Davey integration to expand market reach and improve operational efficiencies in the second half of FY25.
