Want Want China Announces Connected Aircraft Purchase

Want Want China Holdings (HK:0151) has released an update.

Want Want China Holdings, through a subsidiary, has agreed on a deal to purchase an Airbus A318-112 business aircraft for $19.4 million from a vendor connected to the company’s chairman and controlling shareholder, Mr. Tsai. The transaction, which is exempt from the need for independent shareholder approval, falls within the reporting and announcement requirements of the Listing Rules. The aircraft’s delivery and payment are expected to be completed by the end of December 2024, with the funds coming from the subsidiary’s internal resources.
