Vodafone (GB:VOD) has released an update.
Vodafone Group Plc has reported the acquisition of 10,127,986 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging from 69.46 to 70 pence per share, under a previously announced programme. The shares were bought through Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc and will be held in treasury. After this purchase, Vodafone’s treasury holds over 1.5 billion shares, with the total number of shares in issue just over 26.6 billion excluding treasury shares.
