Vodafone Group Plc has announced the repurchase of 6,283,033 of its ordinary shares at prices ranging from 76.40 to 77.72 pence per share, with the volume-weighted average price per share being 76.97 pence. The shares were bought back from Goldman Sachs International as part of a previously disclosed buyback program and will be held in treasury. After this transaction, Vodafone’s total treasury shares amount to 2,011,934,484, while the number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) stands at 26,196,010,333.
