Vodafone (GB:VOD) has released an update.
Vodafone Group Plc has bought back 9,525,971 of its own shares at prices ranging from 70.60 to 72.64 pence per share, with a volume weighted average price of 71.28 pence. These shares are to be held in treasury, and after the purchase, Vodafone’s treasury holds over 2 billion of its shares, with the total in issue (excluding treasury shares) standing at approximately 26.75 billion. The buyback was part of a previously announced program and executed through Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc across various trading venues.
