Vodafone (GB:VOD) has released an update.
Vodafone Group Plc has reported the purchase of 23,253,872 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging between 68.74 and 69.60 pence each, with the average price at 69.14 pence per share. These shares are to be held in treasury, with the company now holding over 1.5 billion ordinary shares in treasury post-transaction. The transaction was conducted through Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc as part of a previously announced share buyback program.
