Viper Energy ( (VNOM) ) just unveiled an update.
Viper Energy, Inc. announced an upsized public offering of 10 million shares of its Class A common stock at $42.50 per share, with an option for underwriters to purchase an additional 1.5 million shares. The offering aims to raise approximately $413.7 million, or $475.9 million if the option is fully exercised, to fund part of an acquisition of mineral and royalty interests. The deal, managed by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and others, is expected to close on September 13, 2024, and is part of Viper’s broader strategy to expand its asset base in the energy sector.
