The latest update is out from Village Farms International (VFF).
Village Farms has entered into a new employment agreement with COO Ann Gillin Lefever, effective from June 1, 2024, with an initial term ending on May 31, 2026, and provisions for automatic yearly extensions. The agreement includes a minimum base salary of $475,000, potential incentive compensations, executive benefits, and participation in the company’s welfare plans. Additionally, it contains customary business protection clauses and a severance package that entitles the COO to 1.5 times the current salary and a pro-rated bonus in case of termination without cause or resignation for good reason.
