Village Farms International has announced its first shipment of medical cannabis to New Zealand through its subsidiary Pure Sunfarms. The shipment includes Pink Kush, a top-selling dried flower strain in Canada, which will be distributed by Medleaf Therapeutics under the ‘Bloom’ brand. This expansion into New Zealand is part of Village Farms’ strategy to grow its international cannabis business, capitalizing on the projected growth of the New Zealand cannabis market. The partnership with Medleaf, a leading local cannabis supplier, is expected to enhance Village Farms’ presence in strategic international markets.
