Vicinity Motor (TSE:VMC) has released an update.
Vicinity Motor Corp. announces that its customers are now eligible for a U.S. tax credit of up to $40,000 on its commercial electric vehicles, including the VMC 1200 truck and the Vicinity Lightning electric bus. The tax credit is part of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, aimed at encouraging businesses to adopt electric vehicles and reduce total ownership costs. There is no limit to the number of credits a business can claim, making this a significant financial incentive.
