Verizon Communications Inc. has appointed Caroline A. Litchfield, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Merck & Co., as a new director starting October 1, 2024. Litchfield will receive the standard compensation for non-employee directors outlined in Verizon’s definitive proxy statement. Her assignment to any specific Board committees has not been determined at this time.
