Verde Agritech’s Fertilizer Slashes Biofuel CO2 Emissions

Verde Agritech (TSE:NPK) has released an update.

Verde Agritech Ltd has announced that its K Forte® fertilizer could significantly reduce Brazil’s biofuel carbon emissions by up to 85.6%, compared to traditional KCl fertilizers. The switch to K Forte® could potentially avoid 300 thousand tons of CO2 emissions annually, which translates to Brazilian Decarbonization Certificates valued at C$8.5 million. This innovation comes as Brazil seeks to lessen its reliance on potash imports that contribute heavily to global greenhouse gas emissions.
