Ur-Energy Inc. has announced the construction of its Shirley Basin Mine in Wyoming, a strategic move expected to double their annual mine production capacity to 2.2 million pounds and strengthen their position in the local uranium market. The project, benefiting from a robust uranium sales book and favorable market conditions, is set to bring jobs and in situ mining technology back to the region. With a cost-effective satellite plant design, the company anticipates low initial capital costs and efficient production with a timeline of approximately 24 months for completion.
