Unilever (GB:ULVR) has released an update.
Unilever PLC has reported purchasing 270,381 of its own ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange, with prices ranging from GBP 44.1000 to GBP 44.3500 per share. These shares are now held in treasury, contributing to the company’s ongoing share buy-back programme. After this transaction, Unilever PLC has over 22 million shares in treasury, with around 2.5 billion ordinary shares remaining in issue.
