Unilever (GB:ULVR) has released an update.
Unilever PLC has reported the acquisition of 200,000 of its own ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging from GBP 44.1300 to GBP 44.5400 per share, with the average price being GBP 44.3291. The buy-back, executed through Goldman Sachs International, is part of Unilever’s ongoing share repurchase program. Post-purchase, Unilever now holds over 22 million shares in treasury, with a total of nearly 2.5 billion shares in issue excluding those held in treasury.
