The latest update is out from UniFirst (UNF).
UniFirst Corporation has appointed Cecilia McKenney as a new Class III Director, based on the recommendation of its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. McKenney, with a robust background in human resources and executive roles at Quest Diagnostics and Frontier Communications, brings extensive experience to the Board. She’s recognized as an independent director under NYSE standards and will be compensated according to UniFirst’s non-employee director program. McKenney’s appointment coincides with an ongoing commercial relationship between UniFirst and Quest, from which UniFirst has generated significant revenue; however, she has no direct involvement in this commercial aspect. The Audit Committee has given its approval for this relationship in line with the company’s policy.
