Unicorn AIM VCT (GB:UAV) has released an update.
Unicorn AIM VCT PLC reports a special interim dividend of 11.7 pence per share and an interim dividend of 3.0 pence per share for the half-year ended March 2024, despite a -3.1% net asset value total return in the same period. The investment firm made £8.9 million in qualifying investments and raised £19.5 million through a fully subscribed offer for subscription. However, the period was marked by underperformance in capital value, attributed to the challenges faced by early-stage, scale-up businesses in securing funding amidst weak investor sentiment.
