Ultrapar Participações S.A. has announced the acquisition of a 51.7% stake in the energy company Witzler Participações S.A. for R$ 110 million, with the deal including a capital injection and performance-based payment. The move is part of Ultragaz’s strategy to broaden its energy solutions and strengthen its position in the electrical energy market. The transaction’s completion is pending approval from regulatory bodies, including CADE.
